Oil paintings of Eastern Washington

Many of Nora's paintings have been inspired by the Columbia River region.  Nora grew up in that area, and she loves the sagebrush and rolling hills carved by the Columbia River.  As an impressionistic artist, Nora does not try to describe everything in great detail, but lets the paint and colors evoke a response unique to each person. Sand and sagebrush are her specialties, with calm, pastel hues.  She also paints other areas that inspire her in the northwest, but Eastern Washington is her main focus.

Nora resides in Spokane, Washington and has been showing at numerous venues including Spokane's First Night and First Friday, Eye for Art, Avenue West Gallery, and Arbor Crest's Art and Glass Fest.
